Quantitative and Statistical Methods
(Psy 321)

This course covers topics in inferential statistics, including hypothesis tests of means, variances, and ANOVA. A basic understanding of arithmetic and some (but not much) algebra is necessary, and an introductory statistics course (Psy 320 or Stat 245) is a prerequisite.

In addition to the two lectures, a lab section is held once per week. In this section, the TA will answer questions about lecture material, go over homework solutions, and assist with computer projects. The labs are held on Thursday.

You will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to access the documents on this site. You can download the reader here.

Lecture notes are available online. You may print them out if you wish, but don't make the mistake of thinking that you don't need to take notes. Homework solutions will be posted on the afternoon of the date they are due.

Exams will be held during lab time. However, because the lab is not appropriate for test-taking, we will go elsewhere. EXAMS WILL BE HELD IN THE LOCATIONS LISTED BELOW. Study hard, and good luck!
